The husband portrayed the character of his wife. Nina the good house wife and a good housekeeper. But Nina always got into conflict with the landlady because of the inhuman attitude to them.

Noong kapanahonan pa ni pangulong Marcos maraming pamilyang Filipino ang punong-puno ng takot dahil sa paraan ng pamamalakad ni Marcos  bilang isang presidente ng Pilipinas. Marami ding mga kabataan na nagpursige na ilaban ang kanilang mga ipinaglalaban na katarungan kaya sila bumou ng grupo at kinalaban nila ang administrasyung Marcos .

Pero para sa akin bilang isang mag-aaral maganda naman ang paraan ni Marcos na magdiklara ng Marshall law kasi para ma kontrol ang mga tao na against sa kanyang pamumuno.

Of Old Things and New

Francisco b. Icasiano wrote this beautiful story after the death of his 1st child. Every time he passes the church of San Agustin he feels possess because he remembered his 1st child. We know the feelings when we have  a baby. We're so happy right? But when we say death it feels so lonely and sad. That's what the writer feels when his child died.
